The mission of Asheville Detox Center is to provide an effective, essential service within a calming and serene environment for individuals who want to safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, and other physically dependent substances. Our detox program was founded by members of the recovery community who recognized a need for accessible drug and alcohol detox in Asheville, North Carolina, and believed in providing quality treatment for people throughout all stages of recovery.

The path to long-term recovery and healing can begin with one phone call. Even if you’re unsure you’re ready to step into a detox program, talking to one of our admissions agents or on-site specialists can point you in the right direction.

Intake Assessment

Our on-site clinicians perform a thorough intake assessment to identify the severity of substance use, medical history, allergens, and current medical conditions. This allows our staff to prepare everything you need during the entire detox process.

Detox & Withdrawal Management

Our 24/7 medical detox center ensures clients are monitored, comfortable, and supported with fluids, supplements, and vitamins to restore lost nutrients and ease withdrawal symptoms. We also have on-site therapists and access to our other centers for additional support services.

Transition Into Addiction Treatment

Medical detox helps our clients easily transition into a partial or full-time addiction treatment program. We’re connected with residential, PHP, and IOP treatment centers across North Carolina, Tennessee, and Massachusetts.

Our detox facility features comfortable and well-appointed accommodations, including semi-private rooms, common areas, and beautiful outdoor spaces. The rooms are designed with the client’s comfort in mind, with amenities such as plush bedding, en-suite bathrooms, and high-quality furnishings. Extensive research shows that our atmosphere can greatly impact our ability to heal and relax. Asheville Detox is located south of downtown Asheville and is a 10-minute walk to Mission Hospital and its St. Joseph Campus.
